Our Story

The Trudeau Cabinets story began in the mid-1980s. Mr. André Trudeau and his father initially founded the company in Hawkesbury, and they were quickly joined by Marie Josée Trudeau, André's sister, who brought her expertise to design and sales.

After only a few years in operation, the building was devastated by a violent fire and nothing remained of the production workshop. Like a phoenix rising from its ashes, and thanks to the impressive determination of the team, barely 6 months later, the company is starting to deliver custom kitchens and furniture again from the building located at 45 Simon Street in Lachute. It was here, at the end of the 1990s, where a CNC-type automated production machine was first installed. It was a great innovation at the time and above all, a guarantee that the company intended to innovate for many more years to come.

Finally, in 2021, Mr. André Trudeau made way for the next generation and a major technological shift began taking place throughout the organization, supported by a vision and a desire to continue to serve our loyal customers well.
